2019 TRB Conference: "Predicting STOP-Sign Compliance at ALL-WAY STOP Intersections in Close Proximity to Signalized Intersections"

A poster session was held by the HUTRC team at the 2019 TRB Annual Meeting held from January 13 through the 17 in Washington, DC. This material presented the methodology, results and conclusions of Howard University’s Year 1 project “Exploring Strategies to Improve Mobility and Safety on Roadway Segments in Urban Areas”.

In addition, the predictive model and results are currently being incorporated into DDOT’s material for public meetings regarding traffic safety. DDOT managers have expressed that the conclusions drawn by this study will be a useful resource to better explain to the residents some of the challenges while addressing traffic safety in DC.

Currently, there are two papers under review for publication.
